North Bay Shore:
Location: North Bay Shore Recreation Area is located on the west shore of Green Bay North of Oconto. Take Hwy. 41 North of Oconto or South of Peshtigo. Then follow the signs to the park.
Day Use Area: The area to the right of the entrance is the day use area. This area offers a boat launch with a $5.00 daily fee or $30.00 annual sticker available at the Oconto County Courthouse or can be purchased on line.
Reservations: Can be made at the courthouse or online at www.co.oconto.wi.us/parks/. Phone in reservations must be paid within 5 working days. Reservations can be made at the Forestry & Parks Office at 301 Washington Street, Oconto, WI 54153 (920) 834-6995. Sites are $25.00 a night, dumpstation included. Reservations are taken the 1st working day of the year.
Location: The 147-acre Chute Pond Park was established as an Oconto County Park and picnic area in 1935. The original Chute Pond Dam was built about 1853 to store water for the logging drives down the Oconto River. In 1935 the old wooden chute dam was replaced. The park has available for campers drinking water, flush and pit toilets, showers, firewood, picnic tables, swimming, hiking trails, fishing, and boat rentals.

Reservations: Camping available April 1 - Nov 30. Reservations can be made online at www.co.oconto.wi.us/parks/. Phone reservations can be made starting April 1st at 715-276-6261 and must be paid within 5 working days. When you arrive at Chute Pond to camp, please register at the Field House. Check in time is 3:00 p.m. There are 103 camp sites for tents or trailers for daily rental. We also have group seasonal sites available.
