Land Divisions

General Information

Oconto County regulates land divisions (the creation of a parcel smaller than ten acres) to protect and provide for the public health, safety, and general welfare of the municipalities. The regulations are designed to encourage the most appropriate use of the land, to provide the best possible environment for human habitation and to conserve the value of the buildings placed upon the land.

Please refer to the Oconto County Land Division Ordinance for specifics relating to the division of lands within Oconto County.
