Lottery Credit

Lottery and Gaming Credit

Once you have applied for and received the lottery and gaming credit, you do not need to file another application until your primary residence changes.
You may claim a lottery and gaming credit for a tax year if, on January 1 of the tax year, you were an owner of the property and used that property as your primary residence.
(Note: Your primary residence is where you live most of the time. When you are temporarily away, it is the home to which you intend to return. You can have only one primary residence and you may only claim one credit.)

  • To receive the lottery and gaming credit on your tax bill, complete form LC100 and return to the Oconto County Treasurer's office at 301 Washington Street, Oconto, WI 54153, no later than October 1st.
  • If you were eligible to receive credit for the prior tax year, complete form LC300 and mail to the State of Wisconsin by October 1st.
  • Use form LC110 if the current tax bill is payable in the following year and was occupied by the former owner on January 1 of the current year. Return this form to the Oconto County Treasurer's office at 301 Washington Street, Oconto, WI 54153.
  • Use form LC400 to inform your County Treasurer when a property no longer qualifies for the Lottery and Gaming Credit and return to the Oconto County Treasurer's office at 301 Washington Street, Oconto, WI 54153.
