Satisfaction of Judgment

To satisfy a judgment with the court it is the debtor's responsibility to complete and file a Satisfaction of Judgment (PDF).

This form is completed by the debtor, but must be signed by the creditor stating the judgment has been satisfied.

Once this form is completed, it can be filed with the Clerk of Courts. A $5 filing fee will be charged. Once the fee is paid, the judgment will show that is has been fully satisfied.

Satisfaction of Judgment Due to Bankruptcy

To satisfy a judgment due to filing for bankruptcy please follow these Instructions (PDF).

Once all forms are completed, the debtor will file the paperwork with the Clerk of Courts. If the Order is signed by the Judge, the debtor will be responsible for paying a $5 filing fee. Once the fee is paid, the judgment will show that is has been satisfied due to bankruptcy.
