Notice of Public Hearings- Rezones- February 13, 2023

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS

Notice is hereby given that the Oconto County Land and Water Resources Committee will hold public hearings on February 13, 2023 on the proposed redistricting of the following properties under the Oconto County Zoning Ordinance.

APPLICATION NO. 1 at 8:45 AM at the Lakewood Town Hall, 17181 Twin Pines Rd. for Peter Christianson, 17166 Rudy Rd., Townsend, WI 54175, Agent: Harry Smith, to rezone from Rural Residential District to General Commercial District. The Planning and Zoning Committee, at its discretion may substitute a General Commercial (GC) district rezone petition with the Restricted Commercial (RC) district or Neighborhood Commercial (NC) district based on consistency with the Oconto County Comprehensive Plan and information received during the public hearing.   Location of the property is in Section 33, T33N, R15E, Town of Townsend.  (On-site inspection at 8:30 AM) 17166 Rudy Rd.

APPLICATION NO. 2 at  10:00 AM at the Breed Town Hall for Ronald Gorski, Po Box 76, Suring, WI 54174, Agent: Kurt Stage, to rezone from Forest District to Rural Residential District.  Location of the property is in Section 24, T30N, R17E, Town of Breed.  (On-site inspection at 9:45 AM) 12138 N Branch Rd.

APPLICATION NO. 3 at 10:45 AM at the Maple Valley Town Hall for Keith Christensen, 11177 County Rd. A, Suring, WI 54174, to rezone from Forest District & Light Industrial District to Agricultural District.  Location of the property is in Section 21, T29N, R18E, Town of Maple Valley.   (On-site inspection at 10:30 AM) 11177 County Rd. A

APPLICATION NO. 4 at 11:30 AM at the Gillett Town Hall for Ken Christensen, 5438 Highway 22 W, Gillett, WI 54124, to rezone from Agricultural District to Rural Residential District.  Location of the property is in Section 29, T28N, R18E, Town of Gillett.  (On-site inspection at 11:15 AM) 5345 State Highway 22

APPLICATION NO. 5 at  12:30 PM at the Pensaukee Town Hall for Kenneth & Nicole LeMere, 4537 County Rd J, Oconto, WI 54153, Agent: Thomas LeMere, to rezone from Agricultural District to Rural Residential District.  Location of the property is in Section 6, T27N, R21E, Town of Pensaukee.   (On-site inspection at 12:15 PM)  Crawford Rd.

Notice is further given that printed copies of the proposed rezoning’s are available for public inspection in the Zoning Office, Courthouse, Oconto, Wisconsin during regular office hours.
