The Oconto County Commission on Aging, Inc., a private non-profit agency, has an immediate opening for the position of Executive Director. This position will be responsible for the development and administration of a comprehensive aging services program to the citizens of Oconto County, consistent with Wisconsin State Statutes Chap. 46, administrative rules promulgated by the State and local directives. This position serves at the will of the Oconto County Commission on Aging Board. The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, leadership and coordination skills, computer and word processing skills, and an interest in the well-being of seniors in Oconto County. The Executive Director must understand, support and work within the values, mission, and vision of the Oconto County Commission on Aging.
This position is responsible for the oversight and implementation of operations and programs in-house and at outside locations including but not limited to meal sites, transportation and senior activities. The Executive Director is responsible for the preparation and monitoring of the annual agency budget and must apply for grants to supplement program funding. The Executive Director is responsible for all areas of employee matters including the recruitment, training and supervision of all paid and volunteer staff.
This position works 40 hours per week. Rate of pay will depend on qualifications and experience. Minimum requirements include education and experience in administration, personnel, finance and accounting. Finalists may be required to undergo a background check.
