This position will be responsible for providing individuals 60 years of age and older, with information, assistance, and advocacy, in the areas of public benefits, housing and consumer issues. The EBS is also responsible for coordinating outreach and education to older persons, service providers and professionals in the community.

This position is responsible for the oversight and implementation of operations and programs in-house and at outside pertaining to benefits and assistance for the elderly. The EBS will be working under the direction of a supervisory attorney to ensure that programs are implemented according to state guidelines and procedures.

This is a full time position with the pay rate at $20 an hour based on qualifications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills a must. A bachelor’s degree with education and experience in administration, personnel, and knowledge of public benefits preferred. Finalists may be required to undergo a background check.
