Enforcement Technician
The Oconto County Planning, Zoning & Solid Waste Dept is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Enforcement Technician. This position is responsible for enforcing zoning, sanitary, recycling/solid waste, animal waste, and mining ordinances by investigating potential violations and taking appropriate corrective action.
Requirements include an Associate’s degree or equivalent from two year college or technical school or six months to one year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience in land use, regulatory issues, planning and zoning, real estate or related field. Position also requires possession of a POWTS Inspector Certification, or the ability to obtain the certification within six (6) months of hire date.
This is a full-time position with excellent benefits. Starting wage is $24.36 per hour.
