October 12, 2020 - Notice of Public Hearings - Rezones - October 26, 2020

Notice is hereby given that the Oconto County Planning & Zoning Committee will hold public hearings on October 26, 2020 on the proposed redistricting of the following properties under the Oconto County Zoning Ordinance.

APPLICATION NO. 1 at 9:15 AM, or as soon thereafter as the Committee may convene, at the Little Suamico Town Hall for Hempfer FI, LLC, Rich Otradovec, 3346 S. Pine Tree Road, Hobart, WI 54155, Agent: Jared Schmidt to rezone from Agricultural District to Rural Residential District. Location of the property is in Section 14, T26N, R20E, Town of Little Suamico, 5463 Lade Beach Road. (On-site inspection at 8:45 AM)

APPLICATION NO. 2 immediately following Application No. 1, at the Little Suamico Town Hall for Catherine Gutowski, 1574 Sundew Road, Sobieski, WI 54171, Agent: Jeff Lieuwen to rezone from Agricultural District to Rural Residential District. Location of the property is in Section 17, T26N, R20E, Town of Little Suamico, 1574 Sundew Road. (On-site inspection at 9:00 AM)

APPLICATION NO. 3 at 1:15 PM, or as soon thereafter as the Committee may convene, at the Northern Zoning Office, 17181 Twin Pines Road, Lakewood for Harry and Audrey Jensen, 11388 Ucil Lake Road, Pound, WI 54161 to rezone from Residential Single Family District to Agricultural District. Location of the property is in Section 12, T30N, R18E, Town of Bagley, 11388 Ucil Road. (On-site inspection at 10:30 AM)

APPLICATION NO. 4 immediately following Application No. 3, at the Northern Zoning Office, 17181 Twin Pines Road, Lakewood for Flint Cook and DBF Real Estate, LLC 11098 Clinic Road, Suring, WI 54174; Agent: Harry Smith, to rezone from Residential Single Family District and Forest District to Rural Residential District. Location of the property is in Section 18, T30N, R17E, Town of Breed, 11098 Clinic Road. (On-site inspection at 11:00 AM)

CANCELLED - APPLICATION NO. 5 immediately following Application No. 4 at the Northern Zoning Office, 17181 Twin Pines Road, Lakewood for John Rusch, 16729 Nicolet Road, Townsend, WI 54175 to rezone from General Commercial District to Residential Single Family District. Location of the property is in Section 23, T33N, R15E, Town of Townsend, 17932 Hill Avenue. (On-site inspection at 11:30 AM) CANCELLED

PLEASE NOTE: Due to Covid concerns and the potential for restrictions in place at the time of the scheduled hearings, if limitations are imposed on the number of persons in large gatherings or any other Covid restriction that would make face to face meetings a public health safety concern, the hearings will be held remotely using virtual media at the Oconto County Courthouse Room 1003 and 1004. No onsite inspections will then be held. Public hearings will then begin with Application # 1 at 9:15 am with all sequential applications immediately following the previous application. Should Covid restrictions be imposed, anyone wishing to offer oral testimony must register in advance. To register contact the Planning & Zoning Department for instructions at 920-834-6827. Written testimony may be submitted prior to the public hearing. To assure your testimony will be read into the record, the Oconto County Planning & Zoning Department encourages you to submit written testimony to the Zoning office 24 hours prior to the October 26, 2020 public hearing. Further details of accessing the hearings via virtual media will be posted on the Oconto County website at www.co.oconto.wi.us

Notice is further given that printed copies of the proposed rezonings are available for public inspection in the Zoning Office, Courthouse, Oconto, Wisconsin during regular office hours.
