November 16, 2020 - Notice of Public Hearings- Board of Adjustment -December 7, 2020

Notice is hereby given that public hearings will be held by the Oconto County Board of Adjustment under the Oconto County Zoning Ordinance and/or the Oconto County Shoreland Protection Ordinance on December 7, 2020.

APPLICATION NO. 1 at 9:30 AM, or as soon thereafter as the Board may convene, at the Spruce Town Hall for Blaser Farms, Inc., 9267 State Highway 22E, Gillett, WI 54124, Agent: Roger or Josh Blaser, for a Conditional Use Permit for a home older than 15 years. Location of the property is in Section 17, T28N, R19E, Town of Oconto Falls, 9026 State Highway 22E. (On-site inspection at 8:30 AM)

APPLICATION NO. 2 immediately following Application No. 1, or as soon thereafter as the Board may convene, at the Spruce Town Hall for Francis Breuninger, 10152 Cherry Road, Pound, WI 54161 for a variance to build closer to the centerline of the road. Location of the property is in Section 30, T30N, R19E, Town of Brazeau, 10152 Cherry Road. (On-site inspection at 9:00 AM)

APPLICATION NO. 3 immediately following Application No. 2, or as soon as thereafter as the Board may convene, at the Spruce Town Hall for Nick and Danny Nickels, 10327 Kapalin Road, Coleman, WI 54112, Agent: Brandon Hytinen, Oconto County Highway Dept. for a Conditional Use Permit to continue to operate a quarry. Location of the property is in Section 4, T29N, R19E, Town of Spruce, County Road M. (On-site inspection at 9:15 AM)

APPLICATION NO. 4 at 12:00 PM, or as soon thereafter as the Board may convene, at the Northern Zoning Office, 17181 Twin Pines Road, Lakewood for Mark Clements, 10210 B.Whitnall Edge Circle, Franklin, WI 53132 for a variance to build closer to the centerline of the road and for a variance to build closer to the rear lot line. Location of the property is in Section 15, T33N, R15E, Town of Townsend, 18080 Robin Lane.(On-site inspection at 11:15 AM)

APPLICATION NO. 5 immediately following Application No. 4, or as soon thereafter as the Board may convene, at the Northern Zoning Office, 17181 Twin Pines Road, Lakewood for Angela Smith, 1242 Mountain Bay Drive, #27, Pulaski, WI 54162, Agent: Gerald DeBruin, for a variance to build closer to the centerline of two town roads, for a variance to build closer the ordinary high water mark, and a variance to reduce the visual clearance triangle. Location of the property is in Section 10, T33N, R15E, Town of Townsend, 16965 N. Surprise Lake Lane. (On-site inspection at 11:30 AM)

APPLICATION NO. 6 immediately following Application No. 5, or as soon thereafter as the Board may convene, at the Northern Zoning Office, 17181 Twin Pines Road, Lakewood for Robert Seubert, 918 E. Hancock Street, Appleton, WI 54911 for a variance to build closer to both side lot lines, closer to the centerline of the road, and closer to the ordinary high water mark. Location of the property is in Section 22, T33N, R16E, Town of Lakewood, 17843 E. Wheeler Lake Lane. (On-site inspection at 11:45 AM)

PLEASE NOTE: Due to Covid concerns and the potential for restrictions in place at the time of the scheduled hearings, if limitations are imposed on the number of persons in large gatherings or any other Covid restriction that would make face to face meetings a public health safety concern, the hearings will be held remotely using virtual media at the Oconto County Law Enforcement Center, Room 1389A and 1389B. No onsite inspections will then be held. Public hearings will then begin with Application # 1 at 8:45 am with all sequential applications immediately following the previous application. Should Covid restrictions be imposed, anyone wishing to offer oral testimony must register in advance. To register contact the Planning & Zoning Department for instructions at 920-834-6827. Written testimony may be submitted prior to the public hearing. To assure your testimony will be read into the record, the Oconto County Board of Adjustment encourages you to submit written testimony to the Zoning office 24 hours prior to the December 7, 2020 public hearing. Further details of accessing the hearings via virtual media will be posted on the Oconto County website at www.co.oconto.wi.us

Notice is further given that printed copies of these proposals are available for public inspection in the Zoning Office, Courthouse, Oconto, Wisconsin during regular office hours. It is possible that a quorum of the Highway Committee may be present at the meeting, however, it is not intended that Highway Committee business will be conducted by the Board of Adjustment.
