NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS

Notice is hereby given that the Oconto County Land and Water Resources Committee will hold public hearings on June 13, 2022 on the proposed redistricting of the following properties under the Oconto County Zoning Ordinance.

APPLICATION NO. 1 at 8:15 AM, or as soon thereafter as the Committee may convene at the Lena Town Hall for Jagiello Dairy Farms, 8661 Jagiello Rd, Lena, WI 54139, to rezone from Residential Single Family District and Agricultural District to Rural Residential District. Location of the property is in Section 21, T29N, R20E, Town of Lena, 8661 Jagiello Rd (On-site inspection at 8:00 AM)

APPLICATION NO. 2 at 9:00 AM, or as soon thereafter as the Committee may convene at the Stiles Town Hall for Daniel Larson, 5290 US Highway 141, Lena, WI 54139, to rezone from Residential Single Family District, Agricultural District and General Commercial District to Rural Residential District and General Commercial District.  The Planning and Zoning Committee, at its discretion may substitute a General Commercial (GC) district rezone petition with the Restricted Commercial (RC) district or Neighborhood Commercial (NC) district based on consistency with the Oconto County Comprehensive Plan and information received during the public hearing.  Location of the property is in Section 26, T28N, R20E, Town of Stiles, 5290 US Highway 141 (On-site inspection at 8:45 AM)

APPLICATION NO. 3 at 10:30 AM, or as soon thereafter as the Committee may convene at the Gillett Town Hall for St. Nick's Pines LLC, 14109 County Rd VV, Gillett, WI 54124, Agent: Issac Follett, to rezone from Forest District to Restricted Commercial District.  Location of the property is in Section 29, T28N, R17E, Town of Underhill, 14109 County Rd VV (On-site inspection at 10:00 AM)

APPLICATION NO. 4 at 12:00 PM, or as soon thereafter as the Committee may convene at the Little Suamico Town Hall for David Szymanski & Tammy Swearingen, 7166 Sundew Rd, Sobieski, WI 54171, to rezone from Agricultural District to Rural Residential District.  Location of the property is in Section 7, T26N, R20E, Town of Little Suamico, 7166 Sundew Rd (On-site inspection at 11:30 AM)

APPLICATION NO. 5 immediately following application no. 4, or as soon thereafter as the Committee may convene at the Little Suamico Town Hall for 41 Red Rocket LLC, 514 Riverside Ave, DePere, WI 54115, Agent: Anthony Weid, to rezone from Agricultural District to General Commercial District. The Planning and Zoning Committee, at its discretion may substitute a General Commercial (GC) district rezone petition with the Restricted Commercial (RC) district or Neighborhood Commercial (NC) district based on consistency with the Oconto County Comprehensive Plan and information received during the public hearing.  Location of the property is in Section 35, T26N, R20E, Town of Little Suamico, 213 East Frontage Rd (On-site inspection at 11:45 AM)

APPLICATION NO. 6 at 2:00 PM, or as soon thereafter as the Committee may convene at the Pensaukee Town Hall for Rob Wolk & Steven Bloom, 4287 Brookside Cemetery Rd, Abrams, WI 54101, to rezone from Forest District and Agricultural District to Rural Residential District. Location of the property is in Section 20, T27N, R21E, Town of Pensaukee, 4287 Brookside Cemetery Rd (On-site inspection at 1:45 PM)

APPLICATION NO. 7 at 2:45 PM, or as soon thereafter as the Committee may convene at the Oconto Town Hall for Cletus Lepak & Marilynn Ness, 2454 Forest Meadows Ct, Suamico, WI 54313, Agent: Michael Andraschko, to rezone from Agricultural District to Rural Residential District. Location of the property is in Section 30, T28N, R21E, Town of Oconto, Cook Rd. (On-site inspection at 2:30 PM)


Notice is further given that printed copies of the proposed rezoning’s are available for public inspection in the Zoning Office, Courthouse, Oconto, Wisconsin during regular office hours.
