September 17, 2021 - Notice of Public Hearings - Rezones - October 11, 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Oconto County Planning & Zoning Committee will hold public hearings on October 11, 2021 on the proposed redistricting of the following properties under the Oconto County Zoning Ordinance and Oconto County Land Division Ordinance.

APPLICATION NO. 1 at 10:30 AM or as soon thereafter as the Committee may convene at the GILLETT Town Hall for Tyler and Marissa Schroeder, 9410 County Road I, Lena, WI  54139 to rezone from Forest District to Rural Residential District.  Location of the property is in Section 31, T29N, R20E, Town of Lena, 9410 County Road I.  (On-site inspection at 8:45 AM)

APPLICATION NO. 2 immediately following Application No. 1 at the GILLETT Town Hall for Benjamin Schaal, et al 10051 Schaal Road, Gillett, WI  54124 to rezone from Forest District to Rural Residential District.  Location of the property is in Section 32, T29N, R19E, Town of Spruce, 9254 Valley Line Road.  (On-site inspection at 9:00 AM)

APPLICATION NO. 3 immediately following Application No. 2 at the GILLETT Town Hall for Scott Thomson, 8706 Lee Lake Road, Pound, WI  54161 to rezone from Agricultural District with Quarry Overlay District to Rural Residential District.  Location of the property is in Section 13, T30N, R18E, Town of Bagley, 9744 County Road Z.  (On-site inspection at 9:45 AM)

APPLICATION NO. 4 immediately following Application No. 3 at the GILLETT Town Hall for Dennis & Mary Bontrager, 5560 State Highway 22, Gillett, WI 54124 to rezone from Agricultural District to Forest District.  Location of the property is in Section 29, T28N, R18E, Town of Gillett, 5560 State Highway 22.  (On-site inspection at 10:15 AM)

APPLICATION NO. 5 immediately following Application No. 4 at the GILLETT Town Hall for Nicholas Wunsch, 5033 Reifs Mills Road, Mantitowoc, WI  54220 and David Brawner, 1320 S. Jackson Street, Green Bay, WI 54301 for a variance from the Oconto County Land Division Ordinance to modify an existing lot to less than 100 ft lot width.  Location of the property is in Section 36, T31N, R16E, Town of Mountain, 12214 S. Shore Drive, Island.  (No on-site inspection necessary)

APPLICATION NO. 6 at 1:30 PM, or as soon thereafter as the Committee may convene at the OCONTO Town Hall for Leroy & Glennis Steffenhagen, 4335 Krueger’s Quarry Road, Oconto, WI  54153 Agent: Jon Spice to rezone from Agricultural District to Community Service District.  Location of the property is in Section 8, T27N, R21E, Town of Pensaukee, Mocco Lane.  (On-site inspection at 1:00 PM)

APPLICATION NO. 7 immediately following Application No. 6 at the OCONTO Town Hall for Justin Frazer, 4915 Founders Terrace, Apt. 101, Green Bay, WI  54155, Agent:  Jason VandeVoort, to rezone from Agricultural District with Conservancy Overlay to Agricultural District.  Location of the property is in Section 7, T28N, R21E, Town of Oconto, 6607 Sprise Road.  (On-site inspection at 1:15 PM)

Notice is further given that printed copies of the proposed rezonings are available for public inspection in the Zoning Office, Courthouse, Oconto, Wisconsin during regular office hours.
