December 18, 2020 - AMENDED Notice of Public Hearings - Rezones - January 11, 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Oconto County Planning & Zoning Committee will hold public hearings on January 11, 2021 on the proposed redistricting of the following properties under the Oconto County Zoning Ordinance.

APPLICATION NO. 1 at 9:30 AM, or as soon thereafter as the Committee may convene, at the LITTLE RIVER Town Hall for Ronald Pitroski Living Trust, 4867 Kruegers Quarry Road, Oconto, WI  54153, Agent:  Jerry Dix to rezone property from Agricultural District to Rural Residential District.  Location of the property is in Section 12, T27N, R20E, AND Section 7, T27N, R21E, Town of Pensaukee, 4867 Kruegers Quarry Road.  (On-site inspection at 8:45 AM)

APPLICATION NO. 2 immediately following Application No. 1, at the LITTLE RIVER Town Hall for George and Jane Wos, 3154 County Road A, Oconto, WI  54153 to rezone property from Agricultural District to Rural Residential District.  Location of the property is in Section 26, T29N, R21E, Town of Little River, County Road A. (On-site inspection at 9:15 AM)

APPLICATION NO. 3 at 10:45 AM, or as soon thereafter as the Committee may convene at the MAPLE VALLEY TOWN HALL for Arnold and John Anderson, et al, 7324 St. Aubin Lane, Oconto Falls, WI  54154, Agent: John Anderson to rezone property from Agricultural District to Rural Residential District.  Location of the property is in Section 31, T29N, R19E, Town of Spruce, 7324 St. Aubin Lane.  (On-site inspection at 10:15 AM)

APPLICATION NO. 4 immediately following Application No. 3, at the MAPLE VALLEY TOWN HALL for Daniel Hansen, 7708 State Highway 32, Gillett, WI  54124; Frederick and Janice Konitzer,Agent:  Nate Hansen, to rezone property from Forest District and Agricultural District to Residential Single Family District and Rural Residential District.  Location of the property is in Section 28 and 33, T29N, R18E, Town of Maple Valley, 7708 State Highway 32.  (On-site inspection at 10:30 AM)

APPLICATION NO. 5 at 1:30 PM or as soon thereafter as the Committee may convene at the NORTHERN ZONING OFFICE, 17181 TWIN PINES ROAD, Lakewood, for Phyllis Glynn Trust, N5442 Wonsen Road, Fond du Lac, WI  54937, Agent:  Daniel Glynn, to rezone property from Forest District to Rural Residential District.  Location of the property is in Sections 18 and 19, T31N, R18E, Town of Brazeau, 10954 Old 64 Road.  (On-site inspection at 11:30 AM)

APPLICATION, NO. 6 immediately following Application No. 5 at the NORTHERN ZONING OFFICE, 17181 Twin Pines Road, Lakewood, for Edward and Cynthia Reinheimer, 17710 Lake John Road, Lakewood, WI  54138, Agent: Hugh Guy to rezone property from Forest District to Rural Residential District.  Location of the property is in Section 27, T33N, R16E, Town of Lakewood, 17710 Lake John Road.  (On-site inspection at 1:15 PM)

PLEASE NOTE:  Due to Covid concerns and the potential for restrictions in place at the time of the scheduled hearings, if limitations are imposed on the number of persons in large gatherings or any other Covid restriction that would make face to face meetings a public health safety concern, the hearings will be held remotely using virtual media at the Oconto County Courthouse Room 1389A and 1389B, LEC Conference Room. No onsite inspections will then be held. Public hearings will then begin with Application # 1 at 10:00 am with all sequential applications immediately following the previous application. Should Covid restrictions be imposed, anyone wishing to offer oral testimony must register in advance.  To register contact the Planning & Zoning Department for instructions at 920-834-6827.  Written testimony may be submitted prior to the public hearing. To assure your testimony will be read into the record, the Oconto County Planning & Zoning Department encourages you to submit written testimony to the Zoning office 24 hours prior to the public hearing. Notice is further given that printed copies of the proposed rezonings are available for public inspection in the Zoning Office, Courthouse, Oconto, Wisconsin during regular office hours.
