April 14, 2022 - Notice of Public Hearings - Rezones - May 9, 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Oconto County Planning & Zoning Committee will hold public hearings on May 9, 2022 on the proposed redistricting of the following properties under the Oconto County Zoning Ordinance and Oconto County Land Division Ordinance.


APPLICATION NO. 1 at 9:00:00 AM, or as soon thereafter as the Committee may convene at the Mountain Town Hall for Lloyd Schaut, 12968 State HWY 32 & 64, Mountain, WI 54149, rezone from Industrial District to General Commercial District. The Planning and Zoning Committee, at its discretion may substitute a General Commercial (GC) district rezone petition with the Restricted Commercial (RC) district or Neighborhood Commercial (NC) district based on consistency with the Oconto County Comprehensive Plan and information received during the public hearing.  Location of the property is in Section 24, T31N, R16E, Town of Mountain, 13080 State Highway 32 & 64  (On-site inspection at 8:45 AM)

APPLICATION NO. 2 at 10:00 AM, or as soon thereafter as the Committee may convene at the Brazeau Town Hall for Barbara Kluth, W137S9670 Fairway Lane, Muskego, WI 53150 Agent: Greg Young, rezone from Agricultural District to Residential Single Family District. Location of the property is in Section 16, T30N, R19E, Town of Brazeau, 11246 Parkway Rd (On-site inspection at 9:45 AM)

APPLICATION NO. 3 at 11:00 AM, or as soon thereafter as the Committee may convene at the How Town Hall for Sunrise Dairy LLC, 13674 County Rd M, Suring, WI 54174, Agent: Harry Smith, rezone from Agricultural District to Rural Residential District.  Location of the property is in Section 15, T29N, R17E, Town of How, 8661 & 8697 Red Banks Rd (On-site inspection at 10:45 AM)

APPLICATION NO. 4 at 12:15 PM, or as soon thereafter as the Committee may convene at the Abrams Town Hall for B&L Investments Properties LLC, 5758 Main St, Abrams, WI 54101, rezone from General Commercial District to Residential Single Family District. Location of the property is in Section 27, T27N, R20E, Town of Abrams, 5876 Main St.  (On-site inspection at 12:00 PM)

APPLICATION NO. 5 at 2:45 PM, or as soon thereafter as the Committee may convene at the Oconto Town Hall for Charlotte Ihde, 3822 N River Rd, Oconto, WI 54153, rezone from Agricultural District & Forest District to Forest District & Agricultural District. Location of the property is in Section 16, T28N, R21E, Town of Oconto, Cream City Rd (On-site inspection at 2:00 PM)

APPLICATION NO. 6 immediately following application no. 5 at the Oconto Town Hall for John Jicha, 6419 Cream City Rd, Oconto, WI 54153, rezone from Agricultural District to Rural Residential District.  Location of the property is in Section 16, T28N, R21E, Town of Oconto, Logtown Rd (On-site inspection at 2:15 PM)

APPLICATION NO. 7 immediately following application no. 6 at the Oconto Town Hall for Wayne Smet, 2986 State Hwy 22, Oconto, WI 54153, rezone from Residential Single Family District & General Commercial District to Rural Residential District.  Location of the property is in Section 14, T28N, R21E, Town of Oconto, 2986 State Hwy 22 (On-site inspection at 2:30 PM)


Notice is further given that printed copies of the proposed rezoning’s are available for public inspection in the Zoning Office, Courthouse, Oconto, Wisconsin during regular office hours.
