February 12, 2021 - Notice of Public Hearings - Rezones - March 8, 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Oconto County Planning & Zoning Committee will hold public hearings on March 8, 2021 on the proposed redistricting of the following properties under the Oconto County Zoning Ordinance.

APPLICATION NO. 1 at 9:30 AM, or as soon thereafter as the Committee may convene, at the Bagley Town Hall for Randy & Barbara Tesch, 1013 Harrison Street, Neenah, WI  54956; Bryan & Susan Hasemen, 13725 Bonita Road, Suring, WI  54174 Dennis & Kim Blodgett, N9655 Friendship Drive, Kaukauna, WI  54130; Vernon & Delores Blodgett, 13735 Bonita Road, Suring, WI  54174 to rezone from Residential Single Family District and Forest District to Rural Residential District.  Location of the property is in Section 5, T30N, R17E, Town of Breed, 13735, 13725, 13711 and 13701 Bonita Road.  (On-site inspection at 8:45 AM)

APPLICATION NO. 6 at 1:15 PM, or as soon thereafter as the Committee may be heard at the Little Suamico Town Hall  for John Greaves, 2829 Scotch Pine Trail, Suamico, WI  54313 to rezone from Agricultural District to Restricted Commercial District.  Location of the property is in Section 14, T26N, R20E, Town of Little Suamico, East Frontage Road.  (On-site inspection at 1:00 PM)

PLEASE NOTE:  Due to Covid concerns and the potential for restrictions in place at the time of the scheduled hearings, if limitations are imposed on the number of persons in large gatherings or any other Covid restriction that would make face to face meetings a public health safety concern, or in the case of inclement weather, the hearings will be held remotely using virtual media at the Oconto County Courthouse Room 3041 (County Board Room). No onsite inspections will then be held. Public hearings will then begin with Application # 1 at 10:00 am with all sequential applications immediately following the previous application. Should Covid restrictions be imposed, anyone wishing to offer oral testimony must register in advance.  To register contact the Planning & Zoning Department for instructions at 920-834-6827.  Written testimony may be submitted prior to the public hearing. To assure your testimony will be read into the record, the Oconto County Planning & Zoning Department encourages you to submit written testimony to the Zoning office 24 hours prior to the public hearing. Please submit written testimony via email at lwr@co.oconto.wi.us or by mail to Oconto County Planning & Zoning 301 Washington St. Oconto, WI 54153.  Further details of accessing the hearings via virtual media will be posted on the Oconto County website at www.co.oconto.wi.us

Notice is further given that printed copies of the proposed rezonings are available for public inspection in the Zoning Office, Courthouse, Oconto, Wisconsin during regular office hours.
